Larry Edwards

Larry Edwards is an award winning author, editor, journalist, ghostwriter, and writing coach. He has two published books, and he has written thousands of newspaper and magazine articles published in the United States as well as Great Britain, New Zealand, and Germany. He is a former business editor of San Diego magazine, editor-in-chief of The T-Sector magazine, managing editor of Maritime Quarterly, and managing editor of the San Diego Log newspaper. He is a former staff writer for the San Diego Business Journal, and QuokkaSports, and he served as a stringer for the Associated Press. Larry won Best Of Show honors from the San Diego Press Club in 1994, 1997, 2004, and 2005, and he has received numerous first-place awards from the Society of Professional Journalists and San Diego Press Club. He is a judge for the annual San Diego Book Awards. His current writing projects include a memoir and a historical novel set on the American frontier. His editing specialties include non-fiction and general fiction, historical fiction, mystery, suspense, and young adult.

When he is not editing, Larry is an old-time fiddler with a number of San Diego-area bands, and he is a historical re-enactor depicting life on the American frontier. He also enjoys photography, sailing, and hiking in the mountains.

He holds a B.A. degree in Education from the University of Washington. He currently lives in San Diego, California.
