Shellie Hurrle

Shellie Hurrle was born with a love of words and an inherent command of the English language. She began reading at the age of four and writing soon followed. Her work has appeared both online and in numerous print publications. From children’s literature to trade articles, she has written about a wide variety of topics.

Between her two businesses, she has nearly a decade of professional editing experience, although she has edited her own work and that of her friends for as long as she can remember. Working with everyone from published doctors to first-time writers, she has edited numerous short stories, articles, and full-length manuscripts. She has had her work praised in various book acknowledgements.

Ghostwriting is one of her specialties; she provided more than three-fourths of a recent client’s novel, and then edited and sold it in ten months. Her favorite part of this business? Working one-on-one with other writers and seeing their publishing dreams come true.

Besides reading and writing, Shellie's interests include gardening, traveling, and physical fitness. She enjoys spending time with her wonderful family in a suburb of Portland, Oregon.
