A-1’s clients generally rave about its editors' attention to detail, responsiveness, and professionalism. While it is true that A-1 reserves the right to decline any manuscript that it believes contains offensive material, it has turned down only three manuscripts in the past seven years based on such material.

Unfortunately, A-1 recently declined an author's manuscript and learned that negative information about A-1 was posted to a website. When confronted, the website host refused to allow A-1 to address the author's accusations and appears completely disinterested in what actually happened.
